We started from the ground up in Auckland, doing regular house cleaning — long days, hard work, nothing fancy. Along the way, we noticed something that didn't sit right: the harsh chemicals we used every day weren't just rough on us as the ones scrubbing — they weren't great for the families living in those homes either, especially with kids and pets on the floors we'd just cleaned.
That's what pushed us toward eco-enzyme cleaning — it gets the job done properly, without that trade-off. And once we started doing it our way, we realised what we actually wanted to build wasn't just a cleaning job, but a service people could trust: no unknown crew turning up, no guessing who's in your home. What "enzyme clean" actually means
We clean with plant-based, New Zealand-made enzyme products, not synthetic detergents. Regular cleaners rely on surfactants to dissolve or mask mess and fragrance to cover the smell. Enzymes work differently: they're biological catalysts, each shaped to fit one specific type of organic molecule, that latch on and take it apart piece by piece — the same kind of reaction your own digestive system uses to break down food, aimed here at the grease and grime in your home instead. Once broken into small enough fragments, the mess rinses away completely rather than sitting on the surface as a chemical film.
Enzymes attach to grime
Each enzyme is shaped to fit one type of mess, like a key fits a lock. On contact, it locks onto organic residue — grease, food, soap scum — that a regular detergent can only sit on top of.
Grime is broken apart
The enzyme snips the long molecular chains in the grime into much smaller fragments — a chemical reaction, not scrubbing — which is how it reaches into grout lines and fabric fibres a cloth can't get to.
Rinsed clean, residue-free
Once broken down, the fragments lift off and rinse away with water — no chemical film, no strong fumes, and nothing left behind that could irritate kids or pets.

What we include in our washing machine clean
An add-on you can tick when you book any of our other cleans. We don't take bookings for the washing machine on its own.

Lint filter or pump filter cleared and rinsed, where your machine has one.
Detergent drawer
Taken out, soaked and scrubbed, and the slot wiped inside.
Door seal & lid
Rubber seal, door glass, lid and tub rim cleaned of grime and mould spots.
Drum clean cycle
We run your machine's own drum or tub clean cycle while we clean the rest of the house.
Outside
Top, control panel and sides wiped down.
Please note
We don't take the machine apart. If mould has built up deep inside, we'll let you know so you can call a washing machine technician.

Yes for organic grime — grease, food residue, soap scum, pet mess — enzymes break these down at a molecular level rather than just masking them. For mineral buildup like hard water stains, we pair it with a gentle non-toxic descaler.
Is it safe if I have young kids or pets at home?
Yes, that's the main reason we chose this formula. No harsh fumes, no chemical residue left on surfaces your kids or pets touch.
Do you bring your own supplies?
Yes — we bring our own plant-based, New Zealand-made enzyme cleaning products and equipment. If you have a specific product you'd like us to use instead, just let us know.
